Fun game

Hey if you're interested in having some fun as well as a chance to win a car and some other prizes, go to and under Fantasy Resource Center, click on Play Now for Drive to the Finals Playoff Fantasy Game. The whole rules are there but basically, you pick one player from a team each night. Just one and you get points for however points, rebounds, and assists they get. You can only use that player once throuhgout the whole playoffs though so it should get real interesting towards the end of the playoffs. Check it out.

I stand corrected by my post yesterday. I thought these Pistons are the ones that take care of business, but from what I saw last night, it's the same as last year. Just making it hard on themselves. Even if the Bucks somehow pull out game 4 which I highly doubt, I still think the Pistons will win the series of course. Hopefully they'll come out mad. But also as I said in yesterday's post, Michael Redd wasn't producing. But yesterday he had 40 points as well as more free throw attempts in that one game than in the first two games combined. The other problem I saw was that other players on the Bucks got too involved. Let Redd have his 40 but shut everyone else down. Milwaukee aslo shot lights out however but I doubt that they will shot like that again....hopefully. Game 4 should be a good one. I think the Pistons will come out angry like I said and handle their business because they need to get this series done to rest RIP's ankle. The Cavs/Wizards series is at least going six in my opinion. We'll see Monday.

Playoff suspensions and the great games last night

I have seen more flagrant fouls and 1 game suspensions in these playoff than I have seen in recent years. I don't know if the refs are just cracking down or if the league is getting softer. There have been three suspensions so far: Haslem, Artest, and Posey. First of all, I don't know what Posey was thinking the other night. This is not hockey. How are you gonna size someone up like that just because they're kicking your butt? The whole Miami team was whining like a bunch of babies. I still think they'll get it together though. The Artest suspension really was needed if you ask me. Haslem had no business throwing his mouthpiece at one of the most no-nonsense refs out there.

But besides the suspensions and flagrant fouls, how about that Lakers/Suns game last night? There was a little tension in between those two teams as well. I'm loving this series right now. The Lakers have a chance to win this series and with Kobe only having 22 pts? That's unheard of. All of the Laker players stepped up yesterday and it's a wonder where this was all year.

The Cavs/Wizards game was another thriller. Some people think that Lebron travelled on the game winning shot which he may have. It was a great shot none the less. Gilbert Arenas had some cruel luck with the rim though. That was too good of a look to win it at the end. And how about those Kings. When you think about it, the Kings could possibly be up 2-1 in this series instead of down. I felt as though they gave away game 2 and they gutted it out in game three to win. Game four should be interesting although I think the Spurs will come out strong. Ginobili seemed to have some trouble with Artest back so that should be interesting as well.

Detroit Pistons @ Milwaukee Bucks...Game 3

So this has turned out to be the most uninteresting series in the whole NBA playoffs. With the series at 2-0, the Detroit Pistons have showed the Bucks no mercy blowing them out each of the two games. Michale Redd's production increased in game 2, but still nowhere near what he was in the regular season:

Games played: 2
Minutes per game: 36.8
PPG: 20.0
FGM-FGA: 7.0-16.5
FG %: .424
3PM-3PA: 1.0-2.0
3PT %: .500
FTM-FTA: 5.0-5.0
FT %: 1.000

The biggest thing that stands out to me besides the lower point production is the number of free throw attempts for the whole series. Granted many people would crown Redd as a jumpshooter first, I still would expect more free throw attempts than 5. But that just attests to how good the Pistons have been in my opinion. The Pistons have been serious from day 1 and the lethargic Pistons of last year are gone. This year's team is looking to take care of business quickly and painfully if you're a Bucks fan. Will the Buck's use some good ol home cookin' to get a win? Not from what I've seen the first two games. I'm gonna need to see a drastic change and I doubt that will happen. The game is on ESPN tonight @ 8 for all of you who have been complaining about no nationally televised games. But why would they put this series on TV with all the other series going on?lol. Later folks.
