Texas Showdown

I'm sure everyone who is a true bball fan and has cable or satellite, will be watching this game tonight. You don't even have to be a fan in order to want to see this game. I jsut pray that it's not a blowout like the previous game. I want a close hard fought game. If San Antonio wins, they are tied with Dallas for that division lead. I'll take San Antonio at home just slightly but this game will definitley have a playoff intensity to it. I can't wait.

Ewwww

From what I read in a lot of forums during the game yesterday, it didn't seem like the Pistons put up much of an effort. The altitude maybe? Give Denver props though. It was a good win for them, but like the title says...ewwww....come on Pistons. Can we at least get a better effor than that. Now Dallas and San Antonio move ever so closer. So it's just another loss. Hopefully they'll get back on track. One more thing. What was up with the freakin rebounding!!That is one of the most annoying things to see when the Pistons get outrebounded like that.

Will this help the Pistons all that much? Not really. But it's good to have someone who has been around for awhile just in case an injury occurs. Hunter seems to be doing well but I still wished Dumars had kept Arroyo. He didn't do anything spectacular but he did what was needed. He gave us good minutes but hey, you can't complain about a 47-9 record right? I'm out.

Tonight: @ Denver

The Pistons continue their mini roadtrip tonight when they head to Denver. Denver is playing alright while still staying at the top of their weak division. I have to give mad props to Carmello Anthony because he is having a great year even though not many people seem to be talking aobut it. It's like he's playing well under the radar. The Nuggets MIGHT be able to do some damgae in the playoffs. I think they could make the scond round, but we'll see. What more is to be said about the Pistons? They are continuing to play well after that all star break which they needed because you could clearly see a little tiredness stting in with the rough schedule. Like I said, they are on this little road trip and they get another nice break bewtween games. Hopefully they continue their winning ways because Dallas and San Antonio are breathing down their necks for that top record.
